Lead agency for early intervention services
Wyoming's Early Intervention and Education Program Unit is part of the Wyoming Department of Health.
Eligibility criteria for early intervention services
Children under the age of 3 may be eligible if they have:

Number of children served
Wyoming reported 1,149 infants and toddlers for the 2012 child count.
Support service structure
A network of regional child development centers coordinates local early intervention services.
Initial family contact
Families may contact the regional child development center serving their location or call 307-777-7115.
Services for at-risk children
Local service teams will provide information on available resources to families with children who are not eligible for early intervention services. Families may also contact the parent training and information center listed below.
Family cost participation
Families are not charged a fee for services. Public and private insurance may be accessed under certain conditions. See family cost (Page 70) for more information.
Insurance coverage for autism spectrum disorder services
Wyoming has not enacted legislation related to insurance coverage specifically for autism spectrum disorder-related services.
Parent training and information center
The Wyoming Parent Information Center is Wyoming's parent training and information center.
Early childhood school services information
